Nowadays, wellness and leisure seem to go hand-in-hand. Whether it be skincare routine, a calming bath, or even just a good night’s sleep — there’s a certain joy in the idea of taking one’s health into his or her own hands. If the idea of self-care and mental clarity are things that get your blood flowing, we at Popshop have compiled a list of pop-up experiences you will not want to pass up on this summer.

Recess IRL, 680 Broadway

School’s out, scream and shout. No but seriously, recess is definitely in session when it comes to this experiential adult playground. The hot pink, purple floored retail space puts the fun in drinking hemp — the signature ingredient found in any Recess brand beverage. In addition to selling health beverages, though, the space is also a home for a variety of nightlife events, open panels, and music functions. Channel your inner child and take a trip down memory lane with Recess.

Bulletproof, 83 Mercer St

The food, drink, and supplement brand has opened its first ever pop-up in Soho. Bulletproof made a name for themselves with their “Fat for Fuel” movement, demonstrated by their special coffee made with grass-fed butter. They have now created a transformative recovery space, or “human upgrade facility” for health-conscious visitors.

A grassy activation is set up at the center of the pop-up, where visitors are invited to test out the brand’s body vibration recovery plates. Enjoy the good vibrations, and experience a significant reduction in your post-exercise recovery time. Other fun features at this pop-up include an Oxygen Bar — with lavender, lemongrass, and grapefruit flavors, as well as weekly guided meditation and yoga classes.

Murad, Westfield Century City

Considering heading out West this summer? Well, we must inform you — the prestigious skincare brand Murad has opened up an experiential pop-up in Los Angeles. Guided by Dr. Murad’s 4 main philosophies — Be Kind To Your Mind, Eat Your Water, Awaken Your Body, and Nourish Your Skin — the pop-up takes visitors through experiential touchpoints, meditative sound baths, and skin consultations.

Murad stands apart from other skincare brands, by offering science backed advice. With inspirational quotes, a wall of fruit, and photo ops — there isn’t much more that a wellness-lover could ask for.

Come Back Daily, 381 Broadway

CBD takes experiential form in this wellness wonder . Once you visit this health-conscious hub, you’ll need to come back daily. This is a community-driven pop-up, where you can choose to partake in a yoga class, meditation session, or a massage service. And of course, there’s always the option to just sit back and enjoy the anxiety-free vibes with friends. Come Back Daily curates the best in CBD products, so whether you‘re looking to treat a migraine or even just to take a breath once in a while — they’ve got you covered.

Surf Lodge’s The Sanctuary, 716 Montauk Hwy Suite #3

Hamptons babes: the Surf Lodge has upgraded this year. The Sanctuary is a spot where you can recharge and reset, and get the chance to choose from a selection of popular workout classes. Upcoming classes on their schedule include Y7 Yoga, Torch’d, and Megan Roup led training. The spot will act as a meeting ground for wellness conversation, as well as a pop-up activewear shop.
